Fabric coated with cyanotype chemicals, and dried. Gathered tulip poplar leaves from a downed tree were gathered and arranged on the coated side of the fabric. Once the cyanotype solution reached proper exposure, the fabric was turned over, leaves rearranged, and exposed a second time. The double exposure creates a really interesting overlay effect that looks best with light shining through, so I sewed the panel into a cafe curtain.
